The Citroën Visa is a small car produced between 1978 and 1988 in petrol and diesel variants. It was sold as a 5-door hatchback and 4-door convertible with front-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. During one generation with one facelift in 1981, a total of 1 254 390 examples were produced.
The car was available with different engines during its years of production. From the 0.7-litre air-cooled flat 2-cylinder with 34 hp (25 kW) to the 1.6-litre I4 and 1.8-litre I4 diesel engines. The petrol 1.6-litre version of the I4 was rated at 113 hp (85 kW) and the diesel 1.8-litre version of the I4 was rated at 59 hp (44 kW).
