The Renault 25 was produced in France in between 1983 and 1992. It was Renault’s flagship, the most expensive, most prestigious and largest vehicle offered by the company. In 1985, it came second in the European Car of the Year award.

The car was sold as a 5-door liftback with front-wheel drive and engine located in the front. It was powered by both petrol and diesel engines. Petrol versions were available with I4 and V6 engines with 2 to 2.9-litre displacements and diesel versions were available with 2.1-litre I4 engines. The 25 has been praised for its ride comfort and handling. A total of 780 976 examples were produced.
