The Jensen Interceptor is a 2-door, 4-seater car produced in years 1950-1957. It was sold as a saloon, convertible and sedanca and in total only 88 examples were produced. The car was rear-wheel drive and the engine was located at the front. The Interceptor debuted in 1950 as the second car produced by Jensen Motors after World War II.
The car first appeared as a convertible with a body made of a mixture of aluminium and steel on a wooden frame. It was powered by a 4-litre I6 engine that was mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. It could reach speeds of 153 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 18.5 seconds. The name was reused for the second generation, which debuted in 1966.
