The Porsche 935 was a racing car produced in years 1976-1981. It was an evolution of the Carrera RSR 2.1 turbo prototype, which placed second overall at the 1974 24 Hours of Le Mans. It was sold as a 2-door coupe with rear-wheel drive and a rear-mounted engine. Overall, the 935 won the 1979 24 Hours of Le Mans and other major endurance races including Sebring, Daytona and the 1000 km Nürburgring. Of the 370 races entered, 123 were won.The 935 was powered by a flat-six 3.3-litre 6-cylinder engine producing up to 845 hp (630 kW), which was mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox.
