The Porsche 930, also known as the 911 Turbo, was a sports car produced from 1975-1989. At the time of its introduction, it was the fastest production car available in Germany. It was offered as a 2-door coupe, convertible and targa (body type with removable roof section). It had rear-wheel drive with the engine being positioned at the rear. It was available with a 4/5-speed manual transmission. The Porsche 930 was powered by a 3.0-litre flat-six cylinder engine producing 256 hp (221 kW) until 1977, and 2,819 were produced. It was later powered by a 3.3-litre flat-six cylinder engine producing 296 hp (191 kW) and 18770 units were produced. In 1983, a bespoke 325 hp (243 kW) engine was introduced.
