The first series was produced from 1941 to 1948, after which a new body type was introduced in 1949, which lasted until 1952. The car was powered by a 3.5-litre I6 engine with 85 hp (63 kW). In 1947, the power was increased to 90 hp (67 kW). It was rear-wheel drive, had a 3-speed manual gearbox and could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 21.6 seconds.
