Also called the GAZ A, it was produced from 1927-1931 and was the successor to the Model T. It was available in more than 10 possible body styles. It was the first car to have a safety windscreen, conventional pedals and steering wheel. In total, more than 4.8 million pieces were produced. The Ford Model A was powered by a water-cooled 3.3-liter L-head I4 engine, rated at 40 hp (30 kW) and had a 3-speed manual transmission. Its top speed was 104 km/h with a fuel consumption of 8-9 l/100 km.
