It is a two-seater coupe with a mid-engine. Maserati has always been known for making fast cars, but technologically they haven’t kept up with the times. Only the Bora changed that, as it was the first Maserati car with independent four-wheel suspension (for comparison, the incumbent Lamborghini used independent wheel suspension as early as 1964). This car is powered by a 4.9-litre eight-cylinder engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Only 275 units were produced with this engine.
