The Porsche 911 is one of the most iconic sports cars in history. Singer Vehicle Design, however, has managed to combine its classic character with modern technology to create cars that are now among the most remarkable reinterpretations of the legendary 911.
This vehicle is based on a 1992 Porsche 911 that underwent a complete overhaul by Singer Vehicle Design. The goal was to preserve the character of the classic 911 while significantly improving its performance, handling, braking, and everyday usability.
At the heart of the vehicle is a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated Singer Motorsport engine, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The upgraded technology is complemented by an adjustable Öhlins sport suspension and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes. The body makes extensive use of carbon fiber components, including the roof.
At first glance, it catches the eye:
- Porsche Cassis Red Metallic paint
- with a carbon-fiber body
- the iconic lines of the classic 911
- nickel-plated accents
- a combination of a carbon-fiber driver’s seat and a more comfortable Touring passenger seat
- a light-colored leather interior with a unique “Bel Air” pattern
Interestingly, this particular configuration was personally designed by Jenson Button, the Formula 1 world champion. The car thus combines the classic silhouette of the Porsche 911 with modern performance and the personal taste of one of the most successful racers of his generation.
The Porsche 911 modified by Singer shows that even a car with a history spanning more than thirty years can take on a completely new character without losing its original identity.
