The Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2 is one of the most significant models from the brand’s early years. Following the success of the 350 GT, Lamborghini introduced its successor, which retained the elegant body lines designed by Carrozzeria Touring but featured a larger engine and a more practical interior.
Under the hood is a 3.9-liter V12, whose design was based on an engine designed by Giotto Bizzarrini. In the 400 GT model, it produced approximately 320 horses. The engine was paired with a Lamborghini manual transmission featuring synchronized shifting on all gears.
The biggest change compared to the 350 GT was the 2+2 seating configuration, which allowed for the installation of two smaller seats in the rear. Thanks to this, Lamborghini was able to offer not only sporty performance but also greater practicality on longer trips.

Only 247 units were produced in total, making the 400 GT 2+2 one of the rarest early production Lamborghinis today.
The model also represents an important chapter between the first production Lamborghini 350 GT and the revolutionary Miura. It demonstrates that even before the advent of mid-engine supercars, Lamborghini was capable of creating exceptionally elegant and powerful GTs.
