The first-generation Ford Escort became one of the most successful rally cars of its era. In the 1970s, it dominated both domestic and international competitions, and thanks to its simple design, light weight, and excellent handling, it became a favorite among both professional and amateur drivers.
This car was built to FIA Group 4 specifications, which represented the pinnacle of the Escort’s racing development. Under the hood is a 1.8-liter Twin Cam four-cylinder engine producing approximately 185 koní, paired with a 5-speed ZF manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
