The Ferrari 250 GT/L, also known as the Lusso, is one of Ferrari’s most iconic grand tourers. It was introduced in 1962 as the pinnacle of the 250 GT series and also the last model in this legendary family before the arrival of the Ferrari 275 GTB.

Under the long hood lies the legendary 3.0-liter Colombo V12, producing approximately 240 koní, which was paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Thanks to its combination of power, comfort, and a well-balanced chassis, the Lusso was among the best GT cars of its time.

This particular lot from RM Sotheby’s is 326. out of approximately 350 units produced. It retains its matching-numbers engine, was owned by its second owner for nearly four decades, and has been restored to its original Azzurro color scheme with a black-and-red interior.
