The Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato is one of the most legendary sports cars in history. It was developed as a lighter and more powerful version of the DB4 GT, designed to compete with the best Ferraris of its era. The design was the work of a young Ercole Spada from Zagato, who created one of the most iconic body styles of all time.

Under the hood is a 3.7-liter inline-6 engine producing approximately 314 koní, which was an exceptionally impressive figure in the early 1960s. Combined with a lightweight body, this created one of the most powerful GT cars of its time.

This particular example, designated DB4GT/0186/R, is the 14th of only 19 units produced. It was the only DB4 GT Zagato delivered to a new owner in Australia, where it subsequently competed successfully during the 1962 season. Throughout its history, it has won several prestigious awards, including accolades at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and Villa d’Este.

At first glance, it catches the eye:

  • hand-formed body by Zagat
  • distinctive double roof
  • long hood and short rear end
  • elegant proportions that combine beauty and functionality

Estimated price: 10,000,000 – 13,000,000 €

Today, the DB4 GT Zagato ranks among the very best in the world of collectibles and is considered one of the rarest and most sought-after Aston Martins ever produced.
