The Aston Martin DB5 is one of the most famous cars in history, but the Shooting Brake version is even rarer. It was created at the initiative of company boss David Brown, who wanted a more practical version of the DB5 without sacrificing elegance or performance.
The conversion was carried out by the British coachbuilder Harold Radford, which modified the vehicle from the windshield backward. The result was a unique combination of a luxury GT and a practical shooting brake.
This particular specimen is extremely rare:
- one of only 12 units produced
- one of 8 right-hand specimens
- Original matching-numbers engine
- owned by the same family for nearly 20 years
Under the hood lies the legendary 4.0-liter inline-six engine, which produced approximately 282 horsepower and had a top speed of around 240 km/h.
