The Iso Rivolta IR 300 was introduced in 1962 as the first luxury GT by Iso, which until then had been producing small cars and motorcycles. The goal was clear – to create a car that would stand between a Jaguar and a Ferrari.

Big names were involved in the development – Giotto Bizzarrini (former Ferrari engineer) and Bertone designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, which is also reflected in the car’s appearance.

The most interesting thing is the technique. Instead of a custom engine, Iso used a 5.4-liter Chevrolet V8, which produced about 300 horsepower and was known for both reliability and ease of service.

The design is one of the main attractions – a long bonnet, sleek silhouette and clean lines that look luxurious yet sporty. The car has been designed as a true grand tourer – fast, comfortable and suitable for long journeys.

The low production is also interesting – only about 800 units were made, making it a relatively rare car.
