The 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is one of the most iconic American muscle cars of the 1970s. years. Even though the era of the most powerful muscle cars was slowly coming to an end due to emissions standards, the Trans Am still retained a strong character.

The model became especially famous thanks to the film Smokey and the Bandit, where it appeared in black with gold details – it was this combination that became legendary.

Under the bonnet were various V8 engines (e.g. the 6.6-litre V8), with performance no longer as extreme as in the 1960s, but still offering a powerful driving experience.

The design is one of the most striking features – the low silhouette, wide stance and iconic ‘screaming chicken’ on the bonnet make this car instantly recognisable.

This particular piece has a black lacquer finish with gold detailing that accentuates its period character. The interior tends to be sporty yet comfortable.
