The Porsche 911 Carrera from the late 1980s belongs to the so-called “G-body” generation, which was produced from 1974 to 1989. The 3.2 Carrera was introduced in 1984 as an evolution of the previous 911 SC and brought more power as well as reliability.
Under the hood is a 3.2-liter flat-six cylinder (flat-6) with approximately 217 horsepower that is air-cooled – one of the most prized features of older Porsches today.
The car is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission (G50 on later models), one of the best manuals of its time.
In terms of design, the 911 retains its iconic silhouette – round headlights, a short wheelbase and a rear-mounted engine, which creates a driving experience unique to Porsche.
This particular piece has black paintwork and classic wheels that accentuate its period character. The interior is usually finished in leather with a simple, functional, driver-oriented design.
