The Aston Martin DB4 is a grand tourer produced in England between 1958 and 1963. It was sold as a 2-seater coupe, a 2+2 coupe and a 2+2 convertible with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. The abbreviation “DB” in the name are the initials of David Brown, who went on to build the company from 1947. Unlike its predecessor, the car was built on a platform rather than a tubular chassis.

The DB4 was powered by a 3.7-litre I6 engine with 240 hp (179 kW), designed by Tadek Marek. It was initially prone to overheating, but its performance made buyers forgive this characteristic. The car was equipped with power-assisted disc brakes. In total, more than 1,200 examples were produced.
