The Datsun 260Z is a sports car produced from 1974 to 1978 but was only available in the United States for the 1974 model year. It was sold as a 3-door coupe in both 2-seat and 2+2 versions with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine.
The car was powered by a 2.6-litre I6 engine with 139 hp (104 kW) in the US and 165 hp (121 kW) in other countries (this version was later also available in the US). The engines were mated to a 4/5-speed manual or 3-speed automatic transmission.
