The Porsche 914 or VW-Porsche 914 is a sports car produced in West Germany (Stuttgart, Osnabrück) between 1969 and 1976 as a successor to the 912. It was sold as a 2-door targa with rear-wheel drive and a rear-middle-mounted engine.

The car was available with 4 engines, three flat-4s (1.7-litre, 1.8-litre and 2-litre) and a 2-litre flat-6. The engines ranged in power from 79 hp (59 kW) to 109 hp (81 kW). These were mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, and a 4-speed semi-automatic transmission was also available for the 2-litre version. In total, just under 120,000 examples were produced.
