The DMC DeLorean is a sports car manufactured in Northern Ireland (Dunmurry) by DMC (DeLorean Motor Company) between 1981 and 1982. It was sold as a 2-door coupe with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. It is the only car that the company marketed.
The car is known for its winged doors and brushed stainless steel exterior body panels, as well as its lack of power. It was powered by a 2.85-liter V6 engine producing 130 hp (97 kW), mated to a 5-speed manual or 3-speed automatic transmission. A total of around 9,000 examples were produced.
