The Cadillac Series 62 is a series of luxury automobiles produced in the USA (Detroit) between 1940 and 1964 designed to complement the entry-level Series 61. The cars were rear-axle driven with the engine located in the front. The Series 62 was used to introduce the Coupe de Ville and Eldorado models, which started as an equipment package but later became stand-alone models.

The third series was produced between 1948 and 1953. The cars were available as a 2-door coupe, convertible and hardtop and as a 4-door sedan. They were powered by a 5.4-litre or 5.7-litre V8 engine, mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission.
