The Fiat 8V is a sports car produced between 1952 and 1954. It was sold as a 2-door coupe with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. It was first introduced to the public at the Geneva Motor Show with the name 8V because at the time of its production, Fiat believed that Ford held the copyright to the “V8”.
The car was powered by a 2-litre V8 engine, initially producing 104 hp (77 kW), later 113 hp (85 kW) and 125 hp (93 kW). The latter was mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. In total, only 114 examples were produced.
