The Bristol 405 is a luxury car produced by the Bristol Aeroplane Company between 1955 and 1958 as an indirect successor to the 403. It was sold as a 4-door saloon and 2-door convertible with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. It is the only 4-door car ever produced by the company.
The body of the car was made of aluminium panels built on a steel and ash frame. Most examples were powered by a 2-litre I6 engine with 125 hp (93 kW). Optional equipment included front disc brakes. In total, just over 300 examples were produced.
