The Aston Martin DB2 is a grand tourer produced in England between 1950 and 1953, the successor to the “2-Litre Sports” model, later known as the DB1. It was sold as a 2-door coupe and convertible with rear-wheel drive and the engine located in the front. It was first introduced to the public at the New York Auto Show.
The car was powered by a 2.6-litre I6 engine with 105 hp (78 kW) in the base version and 125 hp (93 kW) in the Vantage version. This allowed it to reach a speed of 187 km/h (187 mph). In total, just over 400 examples were produced.
