The Maserati 3500 GT is a grand tourer produced in Italy (Modena) between 1957 and 1964 as the successor to the A6. It was sold as a 2-door 2+2 coupe and2-seater spyder withrear-wheel drive andfront-mounted engine. It was a key car for the company, representing the first successful attempt at mass-producing the Gran Turismo.

The 3500 GT was powered by a 3.5-litre I6 engine made of aluminium. It was rated at 217 hp (162 kW) or 232 hp (173 kW) independing on modification. It was initially mated to a 4-speed andlater a 5-speed manual transmission. In total, just over 2,200 examples were produced.
