The Dual-Ghia is a rare automobile produced in the United States between 1956 and 1958. It was sold as a 2-door convertible andcoupe withrear-wheel drive andthe engine located in the front. The name represents a collaboration between the manufacturer andthe Carrozzeria Ghia company. Only 117 examples were produced in total.

It was produced on “the world’s longest assembly line”, which involved shipping the car’s frame and powertrain to Italy, where the body and interior were made by coachbuilders at Ghia. Once the partially completed vehicles returned to the U.S., Dual-Motors took care ofthe rest. The car was available with 5.2 and 5.9 liter V8 engines during its years of production. The latter was mated to a 2-speed automatic transmission.
