The Aston Martin DB5 is a grand tourer produced in England (Newport Pagnell) between 1963 and 1965 as the successor to the DB4. It was sold as a 2+2 2-door coupe, 2-door convertible andshooting brake withrear-wheel drive andfront-mounted engine. It became famous for its role in the James Bond films and in 2013 was featured on the “British Auto Legends” postage stamp issued by the Royal Mail. In total, just over 1,000 examples were produced.

The car was powered by a 4-litre I6 engine with 282 hp (210 kW), mated to a 5-speed manual or 3-speed automatic transmission. This allowed it to reach a speed of 233 km/h (233 mph). At base, it was equipped with reclining seats, power windows, leather upholstery, and an oil cooler.
