The Triumph Stag is a 2+2 sports tourer produced by the British company between 1970 and 1977. It was sold as a 4-seater convertible. It was introduced as a luxury sports car with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine, designed to compete directly with Mercedes-Benz SL-Class models. The Stag was a huge success in the UK, with a 12-month waiting list.

The car was initially powered by a 2-litre 6-cylinder engine, later replaced by a 2.5-litre V8, which was increased to 3 litres in 1968. In total, just over 25,000 examples were produced.
