Amilcar CGS - Classic Cars Kingdom

The Amilcar CGS is a popular, lightweight, sports car produced by the French automaker between 1923 and 1925. It was designed in response to the successful Salmson VAL series and developed from the Amilcar C. The name represents the “C Grand Sport.” It had a longer and stronger chassis and improved brakes.

The car was powered by a 30 hp (22 kW), 4-cylinder, 4-litre engine, mated to a 3-speed manual gearbox. This allowed it to reach a speed of 120 km/h (120 mph). A total of approximately 4,700 examples were produced, including modified versions with higher power and lowered chassis.
