The Austin-Healey 100-6 is a 2-seater roadster produced in England (Abingdon, Longbridge) between 1956 and 1959 as a replacement for the 100. It was announced at the end of September 1956 and was replaced by the 3000. Together with its predecessor and successor, these models are known as Big Healeys. The body lines were slightly simplified from the predecessor with a smaller and wider grille.
The car was sold in two model designations, from 1956 as the 2+2 BN4 and from 1958-1959 as the two-seater BN6. It was powered by a 2.6-litre I6 engine with 102 hp (76 kW), later from 1957 with 117 hp (87 kW). The more powerful engine enabled the car to reach a speed of 167 km/h (167 mph) and accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h (62 mph) in 10.7 seconds.
