The Jaguar Mark VIII is a full-size luxury car manufactured in England (Coventry) between 1956 and 1958. It was sold as a 4-door saloon with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. It was introduced at the 1956 London Motor Show as a replacement for the Mark VII, which was produced from 1950 to 1956.
The car was powered by a 3.5-litre I6 engine (which it shared with the XK140), with output ranging from 160 hp (119 kW) to 210 hp (156 kW) depending on the engine head. In total, more than 6,000 examples were produced and replaced by the Mark IX.
