The Sunbeam Alpine is a sports car produced in England between 1953 and 1975 in five series. It was sold as a 2-seater roadster (1953-1955 and 1959-1968) and a fastback coupe (1969-1975), with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. In total, just under 70,000 examples were produced, with no direct successor for this model.
The fifth and last series of the Alpine, the roadster version was produced between 1965 and 1968. The car was powered by a 1.7-litre engine with 93 hp (69 kW). In total, just over 19,000 examples of the fifth generation were produced.
