The Ferrari Dino 208 GT4 is a sports car produced in Italy (Modena) between 1975 and 1980. It was sold as a 2-door 2+2 coupe with rear-wheel drive and a mid-rear-mounted engine. The cars were delivered with the Dino badge until May 1976, and with the Ferrari badge from May onwards. After production ceased, the GT4 range was replaced by the Mondial 8. In total, just under 900 examples of the 208 GT4 were produced.
The car was introduced to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in 1975, as a low displacement V8 intended for the Italian market (due to VAT). The 208 was powered by a 2-litre V8 engine with 170 hp (125 kW), mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. This allowed it to reach speeds of up to 220 km/h (220 mph).
