The Ferrari 250 is a series of sports cars and grand tourers produced between 1952 and 1964. They were sold in convertible, coupe and berlinetta versions with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. It is the company’s most successful early line, which included variants designed for road use as well as racing. The 250 name represents the approximate volume of a single cylinder in cubic centimeters.

The 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso was unveiled at the 1962 Paris Motor Show . It had the flowing lines and fastback shape that was typical of GT cars in the mid-1960s. The car was powered by a 3-litre V12 engine with 237 hp (177 kW).
