The Allard J2 is a sports car produced in England from 1949 to 1951, primarily for the American market. It was sold as a roadster with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine. The car was powered in Britain by a 3.6-litre V8 engine with 85 hp (63 kW) or a 4.4-litre V8 engine with 110 hp (82 kW). Versions intended for the US market were sold without engines. Only 90 examples were produced in total.

The J2X was produced in from 1952 to 1954 as the successor to the J2. To improve handling, the engine was moved slightly forward, which also gave the driver more legroom. Its power output was 170 hp (126 kW), which allowed the car to accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h (62 mph) in 10 s and reach a speed of 180 km/h (180 mph). A total of 83 examples of the J2X were produced.
