The Aston Martin DB 2/4 Mark III is a sporty grand tourer produced in 1957-1959 as a replacement for the DB 2/4 Mark II. It was sold as a 4-seater, 2-door hatchback, 2-seater coupe and convertible with rear-wheel drive and a front-mounted engine.
When compared to the previous model, the car had a revised radiator grille, a new instrument panel and optional disc brakes. The DB 2/4 Mark III was powered by a 2.9-litre I6 engine with 162 hp (121 kW) in base form and 178 hp in modified form, allowing it to reach a top speed of 193 km/h (193 mph). A high-performance version was also available with 195 hp (145 kW). In total, only 551 examples were produced.
