The Imperial was introduced in 1926 and was one of Chrysler’s top vehicles for much of its history. At the end of 20. years, Walter P Chrysler decided to build a car that could compete with all the other bespoke cars of the time, and so this roadster from the CG range was born. The car received a new 6.3-liter inline eight-cylinder engine with a Stromberg Model DD-3 carburetor and made 125 horsepower. Shifting was handled by a 4-speed manual gearbox.
